Getac
The Getac B360 Pro rugged laptop combines robust durability with powerful computing capabilities and extensive customisation options to meet the unique needs of defence operations. Getac provides configurations beyond the standard product to align with specific mission requirements, including security protocols, data integration capabilities, tactical functionality, and software and firmware setup, empowering teams to work efficiently, even in the most demanding environments.
It is specifically engineered for field operations, and features cutting-edge hardware, secure connectivity, and dependable performance. Getac’s LumiBond 2.0 technology provides a 1,400-nit sunlight-readable display, enhancing display visibility and making it easy for defence personnel to view critical information in any light condition, indoors or outdoors.
The B360 Pro is equipped with Intel® Core™ Ultra Series 2 processors and optional NVIDIA® Quadro RTX A500 4GB discrete graphics for enhanced GPU-accelerated performance to handle complex data analysis for swift and informed responses during mission-critical operations. It supports Windows 11 Pro, with an optional downgrade to Windows 10 Pro for legacy compatibility. Additionally, dual high-capacity hot-swappable batteries provide sustained power for extended missions. An optional media bay can accommodate a third SSD (up to 6TB total), third battery, or optical drive, providing additional storage and operational flexibility in the field.
The latest model also features Intel® AI Boost for secure, on-device Edge AI to execute tasks in real time without relying on cloud connectivity. This lets defence users process intelligence data quickly, improve decision-making speed, and secure data during offline missions.
Getac delivers rugged solutions that meet the unique demands of military and field operations, providing customisable options for tactical planning, mission-critical applications, and rapid decision-making in defence settings. The B360 Pro can be tailored to align with operational requirements, supporting teams in their most critical missions. Connectivity options such as up to two Thunderbolt™ 4 ports, Wi-Fi 6E, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.3, and optional 10GbE LAN provide fast, secure data transfer and seamless integration with defence systems. An optional secure vehicle dock transforms any vehicle into a mobile command post, supporting in-theatre decision-making and coordination.
The device supports up to 64GB DDR5 RAM and up to 2TB PCIe Gen4 SSD storage for faster boot times and efficient handling of large files and data-intensive applications. Custom configurations include custom Basic Input/Output System (BIOS) settings, military-camouflage colour requirements, incorporation and installation of military connectors and legacy interfaces, modular I/O bay expansion, asset tagging, and logo badge and ID customisations. Defence-specific enhancements include support for dual Personal Computer Memory Card International Association (PCMCIA) readers (one standard, one optional) for seamless integration with legacy military hardware.
The B360 Pro can also be configured to meet specific military security requirements. For operations requiring strict communications control, components such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, cameras, and microphones can be physically excluded during the manufacturing process, not merely disabled via BIOS. This hardware-level customisation provides maximum security and compliance with stringent defence protocols, offering peace of mind for sensitive or classified deployments.
