Hofmann Engineering's key capabilities are wide ranging and include gear manufacture, precision and heavy machining, fabrication, heat treatment, design and site services to support Defence projects with complete end-to-end solutions.

Hofmann Engineering has extensive capabilities to produce high quality fabrications using a wide range of metals from Mild steel to ballistic plate, in addition to various types of exotic materials and aluminium grades, utilising all types of welding including robotic welding to DIN2303. NATA certified procedures can be developed suitable to customer specifications and requirements.
Hofmann Engineering maintains an extensive range of 4 and 5 axis machining capacity, manufacturing components up to 33m long to fine tolerances in large batch sizes as well as precision milling and turning of small componentry for the defence and medical industry.
