Elexon Electronics was established in 2006. However, its predecessor company IEDEC started in 1992. Elexon Electronics is 100% Australian-owned and is part of the Elexon Group of Companies. Currently there are five innovative electronics companies under the umbrella of the Elexon group of Companies: Elexon Electronics, Elexon Mining, TPS, Titley and Ambler Systems. The sister companies share IP across the group. The head office and manufacturing facility is located in Brendale in Queensland where products are shipped from to the whole world.

Core to Elexon’s business is the ability to supply to Defence Primes and to contribute to the Australian sovereign industrial capability.
