Dynomotive is a family-owned Australian automotive engineering company, operating since 1972. With a skilled team of 15 and two dedicated testing facilities (AWD chassis dyno and engine dyno), Dynomotive has become a leader in the integration, tuning, and manufacture of performance electronic systems, specializing in Unichip ECUs and intelligent vehicle management solutions.

Dynomotive is the national distributor for Unichip, the world’s first piggyback ECU, providing fully tunable, programmable engine control units tailored for enhanced performance, fuel economy, and reliability. The Unichip product suite includes the Uni-X and Uni-X+ ECUs, offering real-time tuning, 5-map capabilities, and support for modern petrol and diesel engines, including i-ART injector systems and SENT-controlled boost applications. These systems are deployed across automotive, off-road, and heavy-duty applications.

In addition to performance upgrades, Dynomotive also manufactures high-grade, CAD/CNC and TIG-welded stainless-steel exhaust and intake systems, including systems specifically engineered for military and emergency services vehicles. The facility emphasizes precision, reliability, and component durability.

A core innovation from Dynomotive is the Dastek IVM (Intelligent Vehicle Management) unit. Designed and tested under mining industry conditions, the IVM system offers proactive vehicle control by limiting speed, RPM, and engine load using CAN bus monitoring and throttle signal management. The system can be tailored with advanced features like seatbelt and door monitoring, trailer recognition, and remote limp mode via tracking partner systems. It integrates seamlessly with GPS-linked speed limiting, anti-jamming functions, and sensor-triggered engine protection protocols (e.g., water temp, oil pressure). The IVM supports custom fleet deployments and has proven success in defense-aligned logistics and mining applications.

The IVM is certified for electromagnetic compatibility under ECE R10 and meets EU Regulation 2018/858 standards, as confirmed by RDW Netherlands (Statement No. RDWC-DH5-06). This compliance affirms its suitability for regulated fleet and defense use, with testing performed to international benchmarks.
