Coslee Heavy Metal Fabricators has operated from Melbourne since 1998, built on the expertise of key personnel from the respected Hu-Metal Engineering. We specialise in heavy steel manufacturing — from structural steel and plate fabrication to light poles, gantries and cranes, all designed and made right here in Australia.

• 20,000m² Melbourne Site: Four fabrication workshops beside the Metropolitan Ring Road, each equipped with overhead cranes — including a purpose-built outdoor crane for loading shipping containers — plus a mobile yard crane and five forklifts.
• Full Welding Capability: SAW, MMAW, GMAW/MIG and FCAW processes up to 1250 amps, supported by in-house painting, electricians, maintenance fitters and full-time welding supervision.

Our capability spans structural steel and plate fabrication, cranes and lifting equipment, and full turnkey delivery — including 2D & 3D CAD drafting, rotators for cylindrical work, band saws to 650mm, and beams up to 45 tonnes and 50 metres long.

• Welder Qualification & Traceability: 20+ welders qualified to AS/NZS ISO 9606-1, with all NDT and destructive testing carried out by NATA-endorsed third parties, full material-to-weld traceability, and a Manufacturer’s Data Report issued on every project.
