CONTROL SYNERGY components are found in critical systems in some of the world’s leading companies in the Defence, Mining, Agriculture, Rail & Construction sectors.  

Initially established in 1999 in Newcastle, New South Wales, CONTROL SYNERGY was subsequently chosen as the distribution channel for JLT Computers AB, the largest Computer manufacturer in Sweden. Recently JLT acquired a minority stake in Control Synergy Pty Ltd and this is expected to open new opportunities for collaborations with defence in the area of specialised vehicle-mount computers. JLT are actively engaged with NATO and have a NATO Cage number. 

CONTROL SYNERGY has worked with Australian Primes to deliver critical Ground-to-Air Antennas from Canadian manufacturer, TACO Antennas for the AGAT project. TACO has been selected for ongoing evaluation across RAAF Training sites for GTA comms. Together with TACO, Control Synergy collaborated in the design of specialty anti-drone antennas which have been incorporated in RF jamming systems currently in use by the US military and other militaries around the world. The TACO UHF SATCOM antenna is exclusive to Control Synergy and is one of the only systems on the market today able to communicate across both the MUOS and legacy voice systems. It is currently being used for forward communications as well as in Flight Safety systems in the Aerospace Industry. The TACO Manpak portable UHF SATCOM antenna is also exclusive to Control Synergy and is the fastest deploying portable UHF SATCOM antenna on the market today. TACO products possess an NSN number and are available under a  GSA contract. 

CONTROL SYNERGY has been distributing for FREEWAVE radios since 1999 and is part of the supply-chain for different Australian Drone manufacturers, including Primes. The FHSS radios supplied and supported by Control Synergy are being used for command and control across military frequencies and are typically deployed throughout Southeast Asia. XETAWAVE FHSS radios from the US are also supported by Control Synergy and these are currently being evaluated in a land-based Australian defence application.  

Since 2005 Control Synergy has been key in developing the Australian NAND Flash embedded market for its supplier Cactus Technologies. Cactus products have been sourced by Defence as a long-term solution for Legacy Avionics equipment and is suitable as a storage medium for many other current and legacy systems where failure is to be avoided at all costs.  

CONTROL SYNERGY undertakes all work at its Beresfield site in the Hunter Valley, which is equipped with office, warehouse, and workshop facilities.
