Benelec is an Australian SME provider that designs and manufactures advance technology Antennas and RF Components adding to sovereign capability.  Established in 1978, our team of RF engineers develop a wide range of RF product solutions for both fixed site and mobile applications in the 0.2-8GHz from our Botany Factory Complex located in Sydney.

Our Military antennas are suitable for MANET, EW and C2 applications. We cater for dis-mounted and mounted RF requirements and tailor antenna solutions to meet Defence needs.

Benelec also specialises in Radio Frequency (RF) Systems, COTS Radio Systems and P25 Secure Tactical, Digital and Intercommunication Radio Solutions. A trusted partner to Public Safety and Government sectors in Australia.

We focus on providing tailored secure radio solutions to many government departments. We work with key clients like the Australian Department of Defence – DSRG, where we designed, supplied, and maintained turnkey secure radio systems for 42 Australian Military bases. These P25 Digital Secure networks extend via conventional repeaters, mobile and portables radio systems and are complimented by an extensive range of radio accessories.Benelec collaborates with several suppliers that complements its locally produced RF products, including:

The antennas we design, and manufacture are focused on SATCOM, MANET, EW and C2 applications in land UAV and maritime systems and cover product suitable for all frequency bands used from 2MHz to 8GHz. We cater for products used for portable/dismounted, mobile/mounted, transportable, and fixed site applications and can tailor RF solutions for your needs.

Antenna products and systems are designed and manufactured at our Sydney factory complex located in Botany NSW which occupies over 3,000 square meters of space, comprising metal and plastic parts engineering manufacturing, metal finishing plants, antenna and electronics assembly lines, warehousing, sales, and administration. Our engineering and far-field antenna measure capabilities mean Benelec can dynamically respond to our clients’ needs.

Transmission components and devices such as cables, connectors, jumper cable assemblies, EMP protectors, loads, power dividers, RF coaxial switches, attenuators, combiners, output filters, patch panel systems and rigid line components are imported from high quality internationally well-respected manufacturers.

The range of 50Ω coaxial cables is extensive and ranges from military spec Teflon cables to low loss 2 1/4" corrugated jacket feeder cables as well as wave guides and relevant components.

Coaxial connectors cover all the common industry requirements for MCX, SMA, SMB, BNC, TNC, N-Type, UHF, FME, 1.6 - 5.6, 4.1 - 9.5, 7 - 16 and EIA standards in commercial and Mil-Spec grades. Cutting, stripping, and crimping tools are also supplied.

Other MOTS related RF and radio devices are included in the product range such as broadband RF amplifiers, AC/DC voltage reducers, DC power supplies including bench-top and 19" rack mounted battery management systems. H-250 transceiver handsets and communication speakers complement this range.

Benelec offers its design, manufacturing, and processing facilities through its industrial services division to provide solutions to industry problems for volume reprocessing, repairs, retro-fits, modifications, refinishing and repackaging.

Sales and warehousing facilities are provided through Benelec offices in NSW, Queensland, and Western Australia. Exports are handled from the NSW branch.
