Growth in the defence sector in Victoria will be critical to the state’s future economic growth and prosperity. From AUKUS and the mission to support the build and maintenance of nuclear-powered submarines, to advanced capability in land, air, maritime, space, autonomous, AI, complex weapons and hypersonics, opportunity knocks for Victoria.
We are delighted to announce our major Victorian Defence Event for 2026, and are honoured to have both Federal and State representation at the most senior levels, welcoming The Hon Richard Marles MP, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Defence; and The Hon Colin Brooks MP, Treasurer of Victoria and Minister for Industrial Relations.
The Forum will bring together top decision makers from across defence, defence industry, policy and academia for a full morning of thought leadership and showcasing of excellence in capability. Hear from Government leaders, Defence Primes, businesses in the vital supply chain for AUKUS, those at the cutting edge of capability and innovative scale-ups.
